We all need a little dessert in our lives, especially to get through the stressful times of exams. After all, stressed spelled backwards is desserts.

Here are two very easy recipes to get you through the cold months of winter.

Apple Crisp

This 5 ingredient apple crisp is definitely easier than your easiest exam. It’s also quick and delicious!

Ingredients

2-4 Apples

2/3 cup Packed Brown Sugar

1/4 cup All Purpose Flour

3/4 cup Oats

1/3 cup Softened Butter or Margarine

3/4 tsp Cinnamon

To begin, cut the apples into small slices.

Fill 3/4 of the pan with apple slices.

Mix up the other ingredients and press onto the top of the apples.

Bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees for approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Starbucks Inspired Caramel Apple Spice Drink

Cinnamon Syrup Ingredients

1 cup Water

1 cup Brown Sugar

1 tsp Cinnamon

Drink Ingredients

2 cups Apple Juice

2 tsp Cinnamon Syrup

Caramel Sauce

Whipped Cream

To make the syrup, simply bring the ingredients to a boil on low heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Allow to cool.

Microwave the apple juice and 2 tablespoons of syrup for 2 minutes.

Pour into your favourite mug.

Top with whipped cream and drizzled caramel sauce.
