What better way to spend the holidays than snuggling up inside to avoid the cold? No better way, in our opinion! A customized homemade candle is guaranteed to keep you cozy on your lazy winter days; it makes a great holiday gift too!

You Will Need:

Wax

Wick

Glue

Fragrance (we used lavender oil)

Dried lavender (optional)

Glass container (we used a teacup)

Step 1: Using a double boiler, melt the wax. If using tapers, as we did, break them up for easier melting.

2

Step 2: Glue the wick to the container of your choice. We wrapped it around a chopstick to keep it in place.

Step 3: Remove the wax from heat and allow to cool until it reaches approximately 125°. Once it does, stir in the scent and dried lavender.

P.S. Lavender is what we used, but it can be substituted for just about any scent you like!
