I know what you’re thinking, Kaia Gerber has been aaaaallll over the runways this season, so naturally you’re probably thinking the next 400 words will be about her rise to fashion stardom thanks to her mother’s impeccable genes. Well you’re wrong, because our most notable thing to come out of fashion month isn’t a person at all. The Kira Kira app may just be SS18’s break out star. This sparkle app that adds shimmer to videos with sparkly garments is the best $1.39 I’ve ever spent. Fashion girls like Chiara Feragni, Eva Chen and Aimee Song have been using this sparkle app all fashion month. Not only were crystals and glitter seen on the runways at Marc Jacobs, Molly Goddard and Coach, but also at every fashion month after party. I’ve seen so many sparkles that I have been searching every store for a sparkly garment that works with the Kira Kira app.
The app is very simple to use. Kira Kira can only be used for videos, no photographs. The app allows you to change the intensity of the sparkle and saves the videos directly to your camera role. It is perfect for any girls night out that involved intense highlight, disco balls, or sparkling numbers! Kira Kira app is nothing new, but because of the glittering garments coming down the runway it has made a huge comeback since its release in 2015. Hopefully her stardom on Instastories will last until New Years, because there is bound to be glitter in 2018!

I think this might be my first ever video #evachenpose (and first one with a Kira Kira filter, certainly). No bag today but the boots are so extra I felt like they were sufficient. Also if you look closely at my right knee, you can see a CC pressed into my skin from sitting with my legs crossed at shows all day ?
Here are some affordable options if you wanted to jump on the sparkle band wagon and use the Kira Kira app.
