Top 5 Under-Eye Concealers

Concealing dark circles is a must for a flawless finish. Whether you have only a tad bit of darkness or full blown raccoon eyes, I’ve picked a few of my favorite concealers than can help you look well rested and fresh faced no matter what time of day it is!

1) Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser ($9.99 from www.maybelline.com)

This is my go to concealer for those mornings that came way too soon. It’s thick texture means that a little goes a long way with the coverage. This concealer acts as the perfect under-eye brightener as well, and looks great in photos. It drys with a matte finish and to prevent creasing I set it with some Ben Nye Banana powder.

2) Nars Creamy Concealer ($29 at www.sephora.com)

Hands down, my all time favourite concealer. Its creamy texture makes it extremely easy to blend with the rest of your makeup. This concealer has a dewy finish so if you prefer more matte makeup looks don’t forget to set this with powder. I can’t get enough of this concealer! It honestly melts into your skin, making your under-eyes look absolutely flawless. The only downside would have to be the price point, but in this case I believe the advantages far outweigh the price!

3) Maybelline Fit Me Concealer ($6.49 at www.maybelline.com)

Hailed as the ultimate dupe for the Nars Creamy Concealer, this lightweight concealer is perfect for layering and brightening your under-eyes, it too blends extremely easily. I have found however that it does not offer as much coverage as the Nars concealer, but other than that, this concealer is amazing, especially for the price.

4) Covergirl CG Smoothers Concealer Stick ($6.99 at www.covergirl.com)

This concealer is very thick, so be sure to only use a small amount. However, the coverage is amazing. It removes any evidence of sleep deprivation and is amazing when used as a highlighter. I suggest opting for a slightly lighter shade and using this under your foundation.

5) Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer ($34 at www.sephora.com)

This concealer comes with a peachy shade that can be used to hide dark circles, and a skin tone shade to place on top giving you maximum coverage. I love this concealer for an undetectable finish. However, since it is a cream concealer, don’t forget to set this with powder to prevent creasing.
