I have one word for this collection: perfection.
There’s something about Malorie’s pieces that is simultaneously unfinished and, yet totally put together. Luxe fabrics with raw edges mixed with meshed tops and silky smooth dresses. Contradictions and refinery is what this collection is about.
Her line started off with pretty pastels. A deep v-neck pink dress was the starting point and damn was it a good one! Things only got better from there with flirty summer dresses and skirts, light and breezy enough to make you forget about the current fall chill. A light pink wide-legged trouser made me do a double take and had me reconsidering my current ‘only black’ shopping rule.
As the collection progressed it moved from fun and careless to boss-lady material. A darker colour palette of black, olive and orange took over. Sleeker and more professional looks started appearing with more polished silhouettes. Button up blouses, collared dresses and shirts and even a frilly pencil skirt.
The collection was a perfect mix between happy-go-lucky day wear and a killer no-fuss-no-muss wardrobe.
